Authentic Oktoberfest is coming to Verteillac on October 1st.

Dust off your lederhosen!

Having lived in Munich in a previous life, Nicola and Mark certainly know what Oktoberfest is all about! The festival originated on October 12, 1810, in celebration of the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria, who later became King Louis I, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. This year, the 17 day Oktoberfest starts on Sept 17th and ends on October 3rd, the anniversary of German unification. We're celebrating it in Verteillac on Saturday 1st on the Square; entry is free.

All our staff will be dressed in bavarian gear and we encourage you to do that too! We'll have a beer tent, we've sourced authentic german food produce directly from Munich that we'll be cooking for you on the squared we'll have the best dressed German award ceremony to look forward to!

We have some great bands playing through-out the day and evening. Although the event is completely free of charge, reservations for the 14h - 16h sit down sharing platters are highly recommended.
